Mycotoxins are capable of passing from raw materials into feed and food, thereby posing a health risk to both animals and humans. The most common biological manifestations of chronic mycotoxicoses in animals include so-called immunosuppression, i.e., a reduction in the animals' own immunity, as well as a significant decrease in feed intake, liver and kidney damage, nervous system abnormalities, and, naturally, a resulting decline in performance.
