At ADDICOO, we consider the sharing of expertise, practical experience, and the latest knowledge to be an important part of the further development of modern poultry farming. Over the past few weeks, we therefore organized two expert seminars focused on current topics in the fields of nutrition, health, biosecurity, and farm management.
The first of the seminars was intended for Slovak poultry farmers. The meeting provided a space not only for the presentation of professional topics, but above all for the mutual exchange of practical experience from daily operations.
Together, we discussed current challenges in farming, new approaches to animal nutrition and health, as well as trends that influence the efficiency and long-term sustainability of modern poultry production.
The second seminar took place directly at the ADDICOO headquarters in Stošíkovice na Louce. Alongside our experts, we also welcomed prominent domestic and foreign guests and customers from several European countries.
One of the main professional topics was "Extension of the Laying Cycle with Emphasis on Eggshell Quality", presented by Laura Star from the Netherlands. In her presentation, she focused on the possibilities of extending the laying cycle of laying hens while maintaining high eggshell quality.
Another important topic was "Biosecurity in Poultry Farming", presented by Dr. Miroslav Macháček together with our colleague Vojtěch Kabrhel. The lecture addressed the importance of biological safety, preventive measures, and their role in protecting animal health in modern poultry farming.
We were also very pleased by the participation of our customers from Poland. Professional translation during the seminar was provided by our colleague Adriana Jaroszek, thanks to which all participants could fully utilize the presented information and subsequent expert discussions.
International participation also confirmed how important cooperation and the sharing of experience across individual markets are. Many of the challenges that today's farmers face are common regardless of borders – and it is precisely the exchange of practical experience that can bring new perspectives and solutions.
