ADDICOO at the 36th International WPSA Symposium in Poland

From 14–16 September 2026, the ADDICOO team participated in the 36th International Symposium of the Polish Branch of the World’s Poultry Science Association (WPSA) in Zegrze, Poland. As a Strategic Partner of the event, we were proud to support scientific knowledge exchange, the connection between research and practice, and the next generation of poultry specialists.

This year's symposium was held under the motto “Science for practice – practice for science.” Over three days, scientists, industry professionals, university representatives and young researchers came together to discuss current topics and the future of modern poultry production.

The scientific programme covered a wide range of areas, including poultry nutrition and physiology, animal health, genetics and reproduction, product quality and modern research methods.

Monoglycerides in Modern Poultry Nutrition

ADDICOO contributed to the scientific programme with the topic “Monoglycerides as an Alternative to Antibiotics in Poultry Nutrition.”

The presentation focused on the potential of monoglycerides and their application in modern poultry nutrition strategies. In this context, we also presented our Fortibac solutions based on monoglycerides of organic acids.

Finding new nutritional approaches to support animal health, digestive stability and performance is an important part of our development activities. Professional events such as the WPSA Symposium also provide an excellent opportunity to connect new scientific knowledge with practical experience from the field.

Supporting Young Scientists

Supporting the next generation of specialists was another important part of this year's symposium. As part of the competition for the best diploma theses in poultry science, ADDICOO sponsored three laptops for the authors of the awarded theses.

We see supporting young scientists as an investment in the future of the entire industry. Their research, ideas and new perspectives can contribute to further advances in animal nutrition, health and welfare.
