Bringing our approach to Latin America
Bringing our approach to Latin America: animal health and long-term farm sustainability in practice
Our colleagues Eva Vacíková and Nikola Pešová recently visited Mexico, Peru, and Ecuador, where—together with our partner Carval—they toured local swine and poultry farms. The goal of the trip was to share our approach to supporting animal health and strengthening the long-term sustainability of production through practical, farm-level collaboration.
On-farm visits: where real insights start
Meeting producers directly in the field is essential for turning expertise into real results. During farm visits, Eva and Nikola discussed day-to-day challenges with local teams, exchanged experiences, and presented how we work to support healthy herds and flocks over time—through prevention, consistent management practices, and a focus on solutions that are sustainable for producers.
Technical conference in Ambato: gut health in the spotlight
As part of the trip, Nikola also participated in a technical conference in Ambato, where she presented Asentia and introduced a key direction we focus on: gut health as a crucial factor in effective animal health management. Gut health plays a central role in overall performance and resilience, influencing nutrient utilization, robustness, and the long-term stability of production.
Partnership that helps drive progress
We value our collaboration with Carval for connecting local expertise with our know-how—helping bring practical, relevant solutions to farms and supporting a shared vision of responsible, sustainable animal production.
