ADDICOO Professional Seminars: Sharing Knowledge and Advancing Poultry Production

At ADDICOO, we consider the exchange of professional knowledge, practical experience and the latest scientific insights an important part of advancing modern poultry production. Over the past few weeks, we therefore organized two professional seminars focusing on current topics in poultry nutrition, health, biosecurity and flock management.

Meeting with Slovak Poultry Producers

The first seminar was dedicated to poultry producers from Slovakia. The meeting provided an opportunity not only to present specialist topics but, above all, to exchange practical experience from everyday poultry production.

Together, we discussed current challenges faced by producers, new approaches to animal nutrition and health, as well as trends influencing the efficiency and long-term sustainability of modern poultry production.

Professional Seminar at ADDICOO Headquarters

The second seminar took place directly at the ADDICOO headquarters in Stošíkovice, Czech Republic, where we welcomed our own specialists alongside distinguished Czech and international guests and customers from several European countries.

One of the key topics was “Extension of the Laying Cycle with Emphasis on Eggshell Quality,” presented by Laura Star from the Netherlands. Her presentation explored strategies for extending the laying cycle of laying hens while maintaining high eggshell quality.

Another important topic was “Biosecurity in Poultry Farming,” presented by Dr. Miroslav Macháček together with our colleague Vojtěch Kabrhel. The presentation focused on the importance of biosecurity, preventive measures and their role in protecting animal health in modern poultry production.

International Exchange of Experience

We were also delighted to welcome our customers from Poland. Professional interpretation during the seminar was provided by our colleague Adriana Jaroszek, ensuring that all participants could fully benefit from the presentations and subsequent expert discussions.

The international participation once again demonstrated the importance of cooperation and knowledge exchange across different markets. Many of the challenges faced by poultry producers today are shared across borders, and exchanging practical experience can provide valuable new perspectives and solutions.
